We are now offering a brand new workshop called ROAR and it's jam-packed with lots  of fun new Girl Power activities! This means that girls who have previously attended a Girl Power workshop can come along to another awesome day, without repeating activities they have done before. It’s also a great workshop for those who have never attended a workshop before!

In the ROAR workshop, we will explore these key areas…

  • R. - Respect. Respecting our own needs and wants, understanding both positive and negative emotions, learning to set boundaries, trusting our intuition (gut instinct), respecting others.

  • O. Own it! Identifying personal strengths and passions and understanding what makes us feel happy and positive. Embracing our own individuality.

  • A. Ask For It! Asking for help, asking to be treated kindly, asking for something to change, asking for a favour, asking if others are ok. Having the confidence to speak up.

  • R. Relationships. Getting along with others - siblings, step-siblings, cousins, friends. Meeting new people, creating positive experiences and managing conflict.

The girls explore these ROAR topics through vibrant discussion, active games with props, role play, fun worksheets and art/craft. The workshop finishes with a short presentation for parents/carers. Please note that girls need to bring their own packed lunch, snack and drink bottle (no nuts please).

All instructors are experienced teachers with First Aid training and police clearance.
