School Holiday & Weekend Workshops (in South Australia)

Our mission at GIRL POWER is to foster a positive mindset, inner confidence and resilience in young girls through fun and interactive workshops.

Our workshops are based on positive psychology principles and delivered by way of creative and engaging activities.

Girls come away from a GIRL POWER workshop knowing themselves better, understanding the power they have over their own lives and with increased social awareness.

Upcoming Workshops

Friendship Rocks Workshops October 2024

In these half day workshops, FRIENDSHIP ROCKS, we will explore the essential elements of healthy and supportive friendships. We'll discuss how to make new friends, build trust, communicate effectively, and strategies to manage conflict. The topics will be explored through fun interactive activities that encourage teamwork and self-reflection, helping each girl recognise the value of kindness, mutual respect, boundaries and staying true to one's own values.

These workshops will be facilitated by Girl Power Workshops founder, Joni Combe. Joni has been running wellbeing workshops for girls and instructor training for teachers since 2018. With a background as a qualified and experienced teacher, Joni has also studied Counselling and Positive Psychology. Currently, Joni works in a wellbeing role at an all-girls school, where she passionately supports and empowers young women, helping them to develop resilience and a positive mindset.

Please note that girls should bring a packed snack and bottle of water to half-day workshops.

Girl Power workshops are also run by the following certified instructors in South Australia:

Sarah Sanders from 'A Sprinkle Of Magic'
